Cecilia Perez, Esq., is the daughter of one of the most influential presidents of South America, Carlos Andres Perez.  Before entering the legal world, she co-founded the Carlos Andres Perez Foundation with her father, which she now continues to operate as President. 


Cecilia has practiced in the areas of fiduciary administration, probate and estate litigation since 2009.   Her interest in this field began in law school, where she became the president of the Trust and Estate Planning Society.  Following law school in 2009, she began her legal career at Russell & Herrera, P.C., where she worked directly with the Fulton County Administrator and was able to obtain invaluable mentoring and training in guardianships, conservatorships, estate administration, and special needs trust administration directly from AV rated/Super Lawyer Ann J. Herrera.

Cecilia is admitted to the Georgia and Florida Bar.  She is an active member of the Elder and Fiduciary Law Sections of the Georgia Bar and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association.  She is a Veterans Affairs accredited attorney. Additionally she is admitted to practice in the Southern District of Florida.

Cecilia Perez-Matos received her Juris Doctor from New York Law School and undergraduate education at John Jay College of Criminal Justice where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Forensic Psychology. There she received the Audre Lorde Writing Award and obtain lifetime membership to Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.


Cecilia is devoted to advocating for the Venezuelan community in South Florida and advancing the rights of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, & Transgender individual both on a local and a national level.
